It looks like Google has finally begun pushing out an update for Sprint Nexus S users that will take care of the voice search bugs. The update is coming as a smaller point release and according to a message that a Google employee posted on September 2nd;
“An over-the-air update is now starting to roll out that includes a fix for this issue. As with previous updates, it will take a few days to send to everyone.”
That said, those sporting a Sprint branded Nexus S will want to be on the lookout for the update notification. And once that happens, the update should bring you to Android 2.3.6 with Baseband I9020AUCKF1 and Build Number GRK39C.
