Beats Wireless

A recent FCC filing hints that Monster Cable is about to bring it’s headphones into an area it hasn’t yet explored: wireless. More specifically, it looks like Monster is getting into the Bluetooth headphones market with Beats Wireless.

Monster recently won FCC approval for a pari of Beats headphones with Bluetooth built in. The headphones are called Beats Wireless, and will still be able to control your music and take calls with the controls and microphone built into the right ear of the headphones. The only wire that looks to come with the headphones is a USB cable in the signature red and black. The USb cable will charge the headphones, so you won’t have to go through tons of AAA batteries to power the headphones like you need to with the traditional Beats headphones.

Since this is an FCC filing we don’t have a release date or a price just yet. But it wouldn’t be hard to imagine the official announcement coming sometime soon with the headphones coming out in time for the holidays.
