Motorola Electrify

Today, regional carrier U.S. Cellular announced a new addition to its growing portfolio of Android smartphones — the Motorola Electrify. Before divulging too far into the details regarding the Electrify, it is worth mentioning that it is nearly identical in specs and appearance to the Photon on Sprint. With that being said, let’s check out the full specs of the Electrify.

First off, it boasts a 4.3 inch qHD touch screen display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, Android 2.3, 16GB of onboard memory, 8MP rear facing camera, and a front facing camera. The nice part of being with U.S. Cellular is that you are not tied down to a contract allowing you to leave or upgrade a phone at your leisure. In terms of pricing, the Electrify will be available for $199 after a $100 MIR. While we do not know the exact release date of the Electrify, it was announced that it will be launching later this month.
