Samsung has already launched the Galaxy Tab (with a seven inch screen) and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (with a 10.1 inch screen), but notably missing from the lineup — up until today — has been the 8.9 inch device. Best Buy is currently taking pre-orders on the 8.9 inch tablet device running Android 3.1.
Other specs include a 8.9 inch touch screen display, 1GB of RAM, dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 3MP rear facing camera, 2MP front facing camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS. Best Buy is offering two different models — one with 16GB of storage and the other with 32GB of storage. In terms of pricing, the 16GB model costs $470, while the 32GB model costs $570. With pre-orders starting today, the tablet is expected to ship sometime between September 25th and September 30th.
