Earlier today, Verizon Wireless announced a new Android smartphone to join their growing lineup of smartphones. The mid-range LG Enlighten is expected to launch on September 22 through online sales first, but will launch in retail stores a week later on September 29th.
In terms of specs, the LG Enlighten features a 3.2 inch touch screen display, a 32MP rear facing camera, a 800MHz processor, Android 2.3, Adobe Flash support, and a full slider QWERTY keyboard. In addition, it comes with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and 2GB of memory pre-installed via microSD card.
On a two year contract, the Enlighten will cost $79.99 after a MIR of $50. Again, it will launch starting tomorrow through Verizon’s online store only, and the physical retail stores will begin selling the Enlighten starting September 29th.
