Spotify ditches the invitations, opens to all and does so with six months free for new users

Its been big news lately for the music streaming service Spotify, not only have they announced integration with Facebook (along with countless others), but they have also recently topped the 2 million paid subscriber milestone. So what next? Well, it looks like Spotify has made a shift in accepting new users. In the past, an invitation had been required to sign up and get a free account. Sure, users could bypass that and immediately jump in for a paid account. But that aside, those looking for a free ride can now sign up for Spotify with no invitation being required. And furthermore, those who sign up for a free account are going to be given 6 months with no limits or restrictions for free.
