For those who may not be as familiar with me, I will say this — I am a beer lover. But not a sloppy fall down drunk kind of beer lover, just someone who appreciates a good beer every now and then and likes to try and never drink the same kind twice. That being said, one of my favorites at the moment comes from Dogfish Head, its their fall season beer, Punkin. But that aside, it looks like Dogfish Head had recently partnered with Google on making another limited time only brew. The google inspired beer is called URKontinent. And for those lacking the reference there, myself included, that was noted as being “a plate tectonics reference.” As far as the beer itself, that was described as being “brewed in the style of a Belgian Dubbel. It begins with Pilsner, Munich and Chocolate Malts and Belgian Dark Candi syrup.” And from there, well, from there the description goes on to make it sound even better (hit the Dogfish Head link below to read the full description). Sadly though, this one is noted as being available only on tap, which means those outside of the Rehoboth Beach Delaware area will be out of luck in terms of trying. Still, while I have little shot at trying this brew, it does sound wonderful. Plus, it has a nice geek spin on it.
