Ubuntu One now available for Windows As previously promised, an Ubuntu One application has come available for Windows users. And for those wondering why an Ubuntu One app for Windows, well, as described on the announcement post this comes for those who prefer to be running Ubuntu but have to use Windows or Mac for work (or based on preferences of others in the household). Anyway, Ubuntu One is available for free and includes 5GB of cloud based storage where you can store goodies such as pictures and documents as well as video and audio files. But perhaps more important, these files are kept in sync with your main computer and are then accessible by way of the web as well as other Ubuntu One clients including the one for Android devices.
