Somewhere in Korea today, LG has unveiled its first 4G HD smartphone. Dubbed the LG Optimus LTE, this new Android phone is sure to please those looking for an LG smartphone with large screen display. The LG Optimus LTE happens to have 4.5-inch True HD IPS display which according to LG offers advanced resolution, brightness and clarity and shows colors in their most natural tones. This smartphone also boasts of a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1830 mAh battery, HDMI and DLNA support. According to LG, the Optimus LTE is the first smartphone in Korea that offers vivid and clear HD content on a 4G network. Other features of the phone include 8MP regular camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage and 16GB microSD card upgradeable to 32GB. No words yet on whether this phone is going to reach the US. Pricing and release date in Korea is not yet known.
