AT&T app lets customers easily upgrade their iPhone

AT&T is going to make it a lot easier for iPhone owners to jump on the iPhone 4S by making the upgrade process easier. According to AllThingsD, AT&T will soon release an iPhone app that lets upgrade-eligible customers put in their orders for the iPhone 4S. Not only will the upgrade be done from the app, but AT&T will also ship the iPhone 4S right to the new owner’s door.
Ralph de la Vega, CEO of AT&T Mobility, said customers will not need to go to an AT&T store if they don’t want to. The app will help to move things along and will possibly reduce long lines at AT&T stores when the iPhone 4S releases on October 14.
One important thing to note is AT&T is not changing its upgrade policy. This app is just a way for people who are already familiar with iPhone applications to place their orders quickly.
