Apple iPhone 4S

One of Apple’s great products has always been AppleCare, though it didn’t cover your clumsiness until now. Along with the iPhone 4S, today Apple brought out AppleCare+ for the iPhone, which will help you even through accidents.

AppleCare+ costs $99 a year, but unlike the previous AppleCare, it covers accidental damage to your iPhone. Now, if you drop your iPhone and crack the screen, or the glass back you don’t have to worry about having to pay too much extra money for the replacement. You still have to pay for accidental damage, but the cost is just $49. That’s not too bad, and could be worth the price instead of living out the rest of your contract with a cracked screen. On the downside, the fine print says you only get two such accidental damage fixes, but it’s still better than no accidental damage fixes, right?
