If you’re looking to experience Verizon’s fast 4G LTE speeds without having to drop an excessive amount of money on a smartphone, then you may want to consider the mid-range Android Samsung Stratosphere. Unfortunately, it isn’t Verizon’s version of the Galaxy S II, but it is a capable smartphone with a slider QWERTY keyboard and, of course, 4G LTE connectivity.
Starting today, Verizon Wireless will be selling the Stratosphere online and in their retail store locations for $149 on a two year contract. In terms of specs, the Stratosphere features a 1GHz single-core processor, 4 inch Super AMOLED display, Android 2.3, a 5MP rear facing camera, and a 1.3MP front facing camera.
