Garmin Fit iOS and Android app

Garmin International, which is more popularly known for its GPS navigation apps and devices has just released its latest product offering – Garmin Fit, a mobile app for fitness activity tracking. Available for both iPhone and Android phones, Garmin Fit is a pretty useful fitness app that lets you track speed, pace, distance, time, and calories metrics. Yes, it’s just like having your own fitness machine, only this time that machine happens to be your iPhone or Android. Additionally, with the help of some Garmin accessories, Garmin Fit will also display heart rate and cadence. The app also works seamlessly with your device, allowing you to take incoming calls and read text messages without interrupting the app. And to make your exercise regimen even more fruitful, Garmin Fit app lets you name it, add some notes on it and then uploads the data automatically to the Garmin Connect community site, wherein you can quickly and easily log your workouts, track your total achievements, set goals, share workouts with friends and family and of course participate in the Garmin Connect online fitness community. Garmin Fit is available now from both the App Store and Android Market for $0.99.
