While we were originally expecting Acer to unveil a Windows Phone smartphone, however it looks like they have finally gotten around to doing so — the handset comes as the Acer Allegro and it will come available first in France. The handset is expected to debut in mid-November and will be available in either black and/or white. Otherwise, the handset will come priced at €299 with features to include a 3.6 inch (480 x 800) touchscreen display, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, aGPS, 1300 mAh battery and a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash.
