LG Optimus Net

If you’re looking to pick up a new Android smartphone with mid-range specs that won’t break the bank on Bell, then you may want to consider the LG Optimus Net. The Optimus Net features Android 2.3, a 3.2 inch touch screen display, 800MHz processor, 3MP rear facing camera, GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. Granted, it features Android Gingerbread, but MobileSyrup points out the disappointing reality that the Optimus Net is likely never to be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

In terms of pricing, you can purchase the Optimus Net by LG off contract for $199, on a one year contract $174, on a two year contract $149, and on a three year contract it is only $29. Again, you can purchase the LG Optimus Net immediately through Bell. While it is a nice, mid-range Android smartphone, don’t expect it perform on par with an Android superphone.
