Netflix has announced a renewed agreement with Disney-ABC Television Group, which means that users will see a continuation in terms of available content. This means Netflix users will continue to get “hundreds of library episodes” from ABC Studios, ABC Family and the Disney Channel. But perhaps a bit nicer, there will also be some new content coming from “current” Disney-ABC series shows. According to the terms on this one, they will be made available for Netflix users “30-days after the last episode of each season airs.” The new content will include “Switched At Birth” along with prior season episodes of Disney Channel’s animated series “Kick Buttowski” and all episodes of ABC’s “Alias.” In addition, the content that was extended as part of this deal includes the following;

  • Prior season episodes of ABC current hit series “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Desperate Housewives,” and “Private Practice”
  • All episodes of recent ABC favorites “Lost,” “Brothers & Sisters,” and “Ugly Betty”
  • Prior season episodes of critically-acclaimed “Army Wives” from ABC Studios
  • Popular series from ABC Family including “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” “Melissa & Joey,” and “Make It or Break It”
  • A wide range of content from Disney Channel including series “Phineas and Ferb,” ” Good Luck Charlie,” “The Suite Life on Deck,” and “Hannah Montana”
