Runkeeper iPhone app

One of the best fitness/running apps for iOS, Runkeeper has just been updated and its now in version 2.5.0.0. The change log from the app store enumerates the new features of the app which include – auto-pause feature, iOS5 compatibility, GPS filtering for improved accuracy, heart rate zone audio cues and display, pause/resume errors during training workouts fixed, improved current and average pace stability, improved audio speed, as well as the usual rounds of bug fixes and speed and app size improvements. In case you haven’t downloaded this app yet and you’re looking for a useful iPhone or iPod Touch app to accompany you while running, Runkeeper is possibly your best bet. The app uses your device’s GPS technology for tracking your fitness activity. Somehow it transforms your iOS devices into a GPS watch which can be a bit expensive to purchase. One nice feature of the app is that it lets you track not only your outdoor run but also your threadmill runs. Runkeeper app is available now as a free download from the App Store.

Auto-pause didn't work for me either, so got a crap time for my run today. Ended up using the pause button myself in the end. GPS tracked nicely though.
