The “first real Windows Phone,” the Nokia Lumia 800 is on its way to the United Kingdom, and will arrive in the country in just over two weeks.

Windows Phone or Nokia fans in the UK will be able to get their hands on the Lumia 800 on November 16, just a day before the Samsung Galaxy Nexus lands in Europe. The Lumia 800 will cost £399 from Three if you want to buy the phone without a SIM, and it would make sense if other carriers priced it similarly. There’s no word on what the price of the phone will end up being on contract, however.

Americans will have to wait until 2012 to get the new Lumia 800, which is just a bit too long. It’s smart of Nokia to get this out just ahead of Ice Cream Sandwich in the UK, but the Lumia 800 might get lost in the US if it comes out alongside other Ice Cream Sandwich devices. Hopfully we won’t have to wait for too long into the new year to get the phone.
