It has been quite the day for Barnes & Noble related leaks. First we learned of some upcoming price cuts for the Nook Simple Touch and the Nook Color, and now it looks like Barnes & Noble will be expanding the Nook device lineup to include a Nook Tablet. This new tablet is expected to drop on November 16th with a $249 price tag. And as one can see from the above image — the device is going to look rather similar to the Nook Color. Well, the Nook Color that has been given a slight exterior makeover in the form of a new lighter color. Otherwise, the Nook Tablet is expected to bring features such as a 7 inch (1024 x 600) VividView IPS display, dual-core 1.2GHz TI OMAP processor, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a potential battery life of up to 4 hours for video playback and up to 8 hours of general use (with the Wi-Fi turned off). Otherwise, it was noted that the Nook Tablet will arrive a bit thinner and a bit lighter as compared to the current Nook Color. And trust us, we do mean a bit — the thickness going from 0.5 inches down to 0.48 inches and the weight going from 15.8 ounces down to 14.1 ounces. That said, it looks like November 16th is going to be a big day in terms of Barnes & Noble Nook news.
