It looks like AT&T has officially released their first two 4G LTE capable smartphones. And interestingly enough, neither of them come with the ’4G’ branding in the name. That aside though, the handsets include the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid. In terms of price, the Skyrocket is $249.99 and the Vivid is $199.99, both of which assume a two-year agreement.

In terms of the handsets, aside from the 4G LTE, the Galaxy S II Skyrocket features a 4.5 inch qHD (540 x 960) touchscreen display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1850 mAh battery, 2 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with 1080p HD video recording.

The HTC Vivid brings features similar to that of the Skyrocket. The Vivid features include a 4.5 inch qHD (540 x 960) touchscreen display, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1650 mAh battery, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with 1080p HD video recording.

And lastly, both the Skyrocket and Vivid are running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
