HTC Edge

When we get word of a new Android smartphone that’s created by HTC, we tend to expect more of the same. Their modern phones tend to have dual-core processors, cameras with high megapixel counts, large screens and are covered with HTC Sense. The HTC Edge has most of those features, but its rumored quad-core processor makes it a true standout. Pocket Now has an image and supposed specs of the HTC Edge. If the information is accurate, we should have a good sense on where the HTC line of smartphones is headed in 2012.

Naturally, the 1.5Ghz Tegra 3 quad-core processor is the most compelling part about this phone. It may also have a 4.7-inch 720p HD screen, 32GB of internal storage and built-in Beats Audio support. It’s unknown if Ice Cream Sandwich is part of the deal, but it should be given Monday morning’s announcement.

HTC Sense 4.0 may also be layered on top of Android along with HTC Read, HTC Play and HTC Watch.
