US Cellular announces the Samsung Repp smartphone with Android 2.3 Gingerbread

US Cellular has announced their latest Android smartphone, the Samsung Repp. The Repp is currently listed on the US Cellular website showing a “coming soon” status along with pricing information. In terms of the price, the Repp will be free on a two-year agreement. Though worth noting, that free comes AFTER a $100 mail-in rebate.
Otherwise, the Samsung Repp will bring features to include a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display, 800MHz processor, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, 1500 mAh battery and a rear-facing 3 megapixel camera with video recording.
And lastly, the handset will ship with a 2GB microSD card in the box and arrive running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with full access to the Android Market.
