A leaked Sprint playbook has an image that points to an interesting new BlackBerry-styled Android phone coming to the network.
The phone you see above is the Sprint Express, and looks to be a rebranded Huawei Boulder. It’s a low-to-mid-range Android smartphone featuring a 2.6-inch touchscreen and a physical keyboard reminiscent of almost any BlackBerry you can think of. The phone is running Android 2.3 powered by a 600MHz CPU, with a 3.2MP rear-facing camera and a 1500mAh battery. It’s billed as costing $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. Seems like a decent phone for a teenager, or someone who doesn’t mind a slower phone but absolutely needs a physical keyboard for whatever reason. Not the most exciting Android phone out there, but it should still be out there soon for those who might want it.
