Google rolls-out latest Chrome OS update, available for the Cr-48, Samsung Series 5 and Acer AC700

It looks like the folks at Google have rolled-out the latest Chrome OS update. This update will bring the version number up to 15.0.874.117 (platform version 1011.118) and it is available for the Cr-48 as well as the Samsung Series 5 and Acer AC700 notebooks. The update includes quite a few goodies such as the always welcomed to see security updates and crash fixes, however it also brings the new features and new looks that we saw come with Chrome 15.
And for those wondering about the Chrome 15 details, those included the updated new tab page and the new look for the Chrome Web Store. That being said, if you are the owner of a Chrome OS running notebook you may want to fire it up to get the latest version downloaded and installed.
