This compact and said to be durable device was created for outdoor enthusiasts and field workers. It was designed to withstand most extreme conditions and is equipped with G’zGEAR software which operates in seven modes for enhancing active-driven lifestyles. The device can withstand dust and errant sprinkles, rough, wet, dry or snowy terrain. It also features global roaming capability so you can communicate in more than 200 countries worldwide. Features of the Casio G’zone Ravine 2 device include – push-to-talk for two-way communication, full suite of messaging options, VZ Navigator, V CAST Tones, microSD card support, Bluetooth, 3.2MP autofocus camera, 1.38 inch external color display, internal display and 2.5mm headset jack. To prove that this phone is tough enough, it was said to have passed the Military Standards 810G for immersion, water, shock and dust resistant, vibration, salt fog, humidity, solar radiation, altitude and low and high temperature storage. The Casio G’zone Ravine 2 will be available from Verizon online starting November 17th and in-stores on November 23rd for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. It comes with a two-year customer agreement as well.
