Quad-core processors are going to be all the rage next year. Expect to see all kinds of spec sheets touting Tegra 3 at every possible opportunity. I’ve personally had my concerns about whether quad-core processors will eliminate Android lag, and this video demoing Android 4.0 running on the upcoming Asus Transformer Prime settles those concerns slightly. Asus says Android 4.0 was ported to the Transformer Prime two days after Google open sourced the OS.
The video is only a minute and a half, which isn’t nearly enough time for anyone to form a definitive opinion on how good performance on the Transformer Prime really is. However, what we do see is a smooth experience with no lag.
Check out the video below and see if you are at all impressed with this early build of ICS on the Transformer Prime.
