T-Mobile originally launched the HTC Amaze 4G smartphone back in October and at the time it came with a $259.99 price tag. More specifically, it was priced at $259.99 on a two-year agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate. In other words, those looking to make a purchase would have needed to shell out $309.99 to actually make the purchase. Needless to say, that is on the high-end in terms of smartphone prices these days. And thankfully, T-Mobile seems to have realized that the pricing was a bit high and come forward with a drop in price. Effective immediately, those looking to pick up an Amaze 4G will be able to do so for $229.99. Still, that comes after a $50 mail-in rebate which means you will need to have $279.99 on hand the day you make the purchase. Otherwise, the HTC Amaze 4G has features to include a 4.3 inch qHD Super LCD touchscreen display, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, 8 megapixel rear facing camera and Android 2.3.4 along with HTC’s Sense user interface. And lastly, the Amaze 4G supports the T-Mobile HSPA+ (42Mbps) network.
