Microsoft Windows 8 public beta release confirmed for February 2012

While Microsoft has already released the Windows 8 Developer Preview, it looks like those waiting for the Public Beta to come available still have a few months of waiting ahead of them. The past had brought rumors suggesting that the Windows 8 Public Beta would be released sometime in January, however Microsoft has since confirmed that it will be arriving in February. That being said, the Windows 8 Developer Preview was a popular item which has been downloaded over three million times and given that, we are more than slightly curious to see how many users will want to check out the Public Beta. Either way, it should be here in February of next year.
