Google movies

Searching for a movie to see in theaters has gotten a little snazzier if you’re using Google on an Android or iOS device. Google has made it so several films currently in theaters are displayed side by side in the search results. The movies are represented by their respective posters and can be swiped through at will. This new feature is only available in the United States.

All you have to do to try this out is perform a Google search for “movies”, or search for or a theater along with the specific city in which it’s located. The first result you’ll see is a horizontal list of movie posters along with pertinent information such as ratings, a brief description and the theaters that are showing the film. As you scroll through the list, the associated details about the film change in real-time. This prevents you from needing to click through to learn more information.

Some of the movie posters also link to the film’s trailer on YouTube. If you like what you see, you can purchase movie tickets by clicking on the showtime that works best for you.
