Facebook iOS app gets an update, goes to version 4.1 and brings Mobile Timeline to the iPhone

We have recently seen Facebook open up Timeline for everyone on the web as well as on Android mobile devices. And well, it looks like it has also arrived for iOS. Well, more specifically — Mobile Timeline is now available for the iPhone. The support comes by way of the recently updated iOS Facebook app, which notes that Mobile Timeline has officially arrived for the iPhone and is “coming soon” for the iPad. And for those who have yet to move over to Timeline, that can be done by surfing (from a desktop browser) to www.fb.me/tml. Otherwise, the Timeline support on the iPhone comes as part of the version 4.1 update which includes some other goodies such as;

• Access to friend lists, subscribers and subscriptions
• Faster, better performance
• Photos are easier to view, upload and comment on
