Google+ Android

Not long after Google revealed new features for the web-based version of Google+, it updated its Android app with some neat changes. The relatively small-sized update changes the way photos are viewed, adds more features to Messenger and squashes some bugs you probably never knew existed.

The photo albums are now separated by equally sized rectangles. The highlighted photo will be whichever picture is shown first in the album. Photos that are uploaded instantly to Google+ will also be highlighted with a special icon.

Messenger is the real star of the update. You can now start a hangout from within Messenger. Also, Google+ also brings up a list of suggested Google+ contacts whenever you start a conversation in Messenger.
