We have seen plenty in of rumor and speculation in terms of the Motorola Droid 4 smartphone. In the past the handset has been spotted in an FCC filing and also rumored for a launch on December 8th. Of course, given the 8th has already passed — we are well aware that release is not happening. But on the flip side, another rumored date seems to have popped up and remained in the chatter. That date, December 22nd. Yup as of now it looks like Verizon Wireless will be launching the Droid 4 on December 22nd. That being said, while we wait for the official confirmation to arrive from Verizon — a quick recap of the specs seems to be in order. Based on what we have seen thus far, the Motorola Droid 4 will bring features to include a 4-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display, 5-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and support for the 4G LTE network.
