It looks like Sprint has officially announced and begun rolling out another update to Gingerbread. This latest is available for the Samsung Replenish smartphone and means the handset will soon be sporting Android 2.3. According to the details coming from Sprint, the update process has begun and hey are sending out update notifications to users “in waves.” That being said, nothing was given as to when the rollout will be finished, just that it has begun. Otherwise, and perhaps a bit more important — aside from going to 2.3, here is what Replenish users can expect in terms of changes;

  • Increased Operating System (OS) speed and efficiency
  • One-touch word selection and copy/paste
  • Improved power management
  • Downloads Management
  • SMS Messaging fix
