According to Huawei at CES 2012, the existing MediaPad Tab running Android 3.2 will receive an upgrade to Android 4.0 sometime in Q1 of 2012. If you own the MediaPad, then you may want to be on the lookout for the upgrade since it will happen OTA in the coming weeks.
New Huawei MediaPad tablets will come pre-loaded with Android 4.0 making it the only option next to the Transformer Prime currently available with Ice Cream Sandwich. In addition, Huawei launched a few new models that differ only in color, but these will launch with Android 3.2 and will be upgraded at a later date to Android 4.0. The new color options include shadow black, classic brown, and passion pink. Each features a 7 inch screen with a resolution of 12800 x 800, 1080p video playback, and a dual-core 1.2GHz processor.
