The CES floor space that Microsoft gave up was resold for CES 2013 in just 45 minutes

When the news that Microsoft was not going to be at CES in 2013 the tech press was rather surprised. And well, it now looks like it may not have been all that big of a deal for those in charge. Well, technically speaking they may have had some behind the scenes headaches, however it looks like the space that Microsoft gave up for 2013 has already been sold out. In fact, according to CNET, the space sold out in an “amazingly quick” 45 minutes. As to who will be picking up that space, it was sold to Dish and Hisense (a Chinese electronics maker). With that, it looks like the now familiar Microsoft space will officially have another occupant come January 2013.
