Those who happen to be waiting for Sony to launch their Music Unlimited service for iOS may soon be in luck. According to details coming from MobileBeat, Sony has confirmed plans to launch an app for iOS sometime during Q1 2012. Of course, the service has already been available for Android users as well as those on PC’s. Further details show that the app will be compatible with the iPhone as well as the iPad and that it will be available as a free download. On that note we should point out that while free to download, there is a monthly charge that will come along with. And while we have yet to see any confirmation on this, the Music Unlimited app for Android does come with a free 30-day trial. The Sony Music Unlimited service touts more than 10 million tracks and the iOS app will allow for caching which should help make your offline and/or spotty connection times all that more pleasant. That being said, those interested should keep an eye on the iOS App Store.
