Amazon rolled-out software version 6.2.1 for the Kindle Fire back in December, and well, it looks like the next software update has begun showing up. This latest will arrive as 6.2.2, which that alone offers the suggestion of this being nothing more than a minor update. So far we have yet to see a full changelog from Amazon regarding this update, however users reports are pointing to a new button as having been added. The new button can be found in the Silk web browser and will allow you to enter full screen browsing mode. Otherwise, as with other Kindle Fire software updates, version 6.2.2 will automatically download and install to your device. And for those feeling a bit more impatient, rest assured in knowing that you can follow this link to a direct download.
