Carbon for AndroidWith WebOS going open source developers have to turn to other platforms. The developers of Carbon, a popular Twitter client for WebOS have decided to turn their efforts to developing for Android.

The developers behind Carbon have been working of Carbon for Android for some time now, with the first tweet from the app’s Twitter account coming in mid-December. The developers just released the first image of the new app with the Timeline working on the app. It looks like they’re working with the stock Ice Cream Sandwich design aesthetics for now, but that could change. The other interesting piece of the image is how it handles images within the Timeline by pushing the tweet to the left side and putting the image right in line with all the other tweets. Seems like a neat feature, especially if you follow a lot of people and don’t want to waste time waiting for images to load separately.
