Watch the Apple announcement of iBooks 2, iBook Author, and the new iTunes U

Earlier this week Apple held its big education announcement to show off the new iBooks, iBook Author, and iTunes U. Sure, we’ve been able to try out these new apps since they were announced, but maybe you want to see Phil Schiller and others up on stage talking about them.

Apple has put up the video of the announcement so we can all see it for ourselves. You probably already heard about everything that’s here, but maybe you’re snowed in this weekend, or you have an hour of your Saturday with nothing to do. There’s worse ways to spend you time than watching the first Apple announcement of 2012.
