It’s understandable why T-Mobile wants customers to choose its assortment of Android and Windows Phone devices over bringing in an unlocked iPhone. The carrier would much rather sell phones and service instead of just voice and data plans. T-Mobile’s latest attempt to convince customers to choose 4G devices involves teaching its employees how to leverage T-Mobile’s 4G network over the Edge network iPhone users have to use while on T-Mobile.

In yet another leaked document obtained by Tmo News,  T-Mobile compares the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S to the Galaxy S Blaze 4G, HTC Amaze 4G and the HTC Radar 4G. T-Mobile rates the customer experience with the iPhones as “poor” while the other devices received an “excellent” customer experience rating.

T-Mobile defines the user experience as something that is largely dependent on network speeds. It wants employees to show customers how they can “unleash their handset’s full potential” through T-Mobile’s 4G network. T-Mobile also has a couple employee scripts that point out the “big, beautiful screen” and 4G speeds available on the Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Amaze 4G.

These methods may work on some customers, but T-Mobile’s existing customers have no problem jumping ship for an iPhone carrier when their contracts are up.
