doubleTwist Player for Android gets an update, brings a podcast directory along

It looks like the doubleTwist Player app for Android has gotten an update. And nicely done, this one looks to include a few new features. The app has jumped up to version 1.7.0 and it measures in as a 8.0M file download and requires Android 2.2 or later for use. But that aside, lets get into the new features that came along with the new version number. Those break down as follows;

• Podcasts: experience podcasts without syncing! (premium feature)
• Added expandable/collapsable Now Playing screen with easier access to Up Next queue.
• Design and interface updates — many for Android 4.0.
• Fixed AirPlay & AirTwist playback issues.
• Improved app performance & reliability.
