We just mentioned the initial roll-out plans for the US Cellular 4G LTE network. Of course, the network and the increased speeds will not be all that much fun without some devices that are 4G capable. That being said, along with the roll-out of the network, US Cellular has announced plans for a pair of 4G LTE devices from Samsung — one smartphone and one tablet. The tablet is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G and the smartphone is the Galaxy S Aviator 4G.
So far we have yet to learn anything in terms of the pricing, however we can tell you that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G tablet will be available beginning in March and that the Galaxy S Aviator 4G smartphone will come available a month later, in April. Otherwise, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G features include a 10.1 inch display, front and rear-facing cameras and Android 3.2 Honeycomb. In terms of the Galaxy S Aviator 4G, that handset will bring goodies to include a 4.3 inch WVGA S-AMOLED Plus display, a front-facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
