Nook Simple Touch Wi-Fi connectivity issues confirmed by Barnes & Noble

Users have been complaining about connectivity issues on the Nook Simple Touch as a result of a software update (version 1.1). And well, while we have seen the complaints — it now looks like confirmation of the issue has come from Barnes & Noble. Sadly though, while we have seen confirmation that the issue is real we do not yet have word of when a fix is going to be released. Bottom line, so far nothing more than an acknowledgement and a promise that the issue is “diligently” being worked on.
