The folks over at Evernote have recently rolled-out the latest update for their iOS app. The app has gone up to version 4.1.8 and remains available as a free (to download and use) app with universal support for the iPhone and iPod touch as well as the iPad. But perhaps a bit nicer than the new version number is the fact that this update arrives with a new feature along with some improvements and enhancements to previously existing features. Coming from the “what’s new” section in the App Store listing, here is what you can expect with Evernote 4.1.8;

  • NEW: Predictive note titles – untitled notes are assigned a title based on location, time and other contextual info
  • Note editing performance improvements
  • Easier access to notebook sharing options
  • Improved ability to apply styles, edit, copy, and paste within notes
  • Fixed numerous synchronization issues
  • Improved login and registration experience
  • Fixed cropping problems
  • Improved stability
