Another day and another pre-Mobile World Congress smartphone announcement from the folks at LG. This latest arrives as the LG Optimus 4X HD which will bring goodies to include a Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 4.7 inch display. Anyway, similar to the other recent announcements from LG, we are still waiting further details in terms of when the Optimus 4X HD will be available and how much it will be selling for. Not to mention, which markets LG plans to release this in. But putting those bits aside for a moment, lets get back into the specifics of the specs, which come as follows;

  • 4.7-inch (1280 x 720) True HD IPS
  • 1.5GHz Quad-Core processor (NVIDIA Tegra 3)
  • 1GB of RAM (LP DDR2)
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 2,150mAh battery
  • 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
  • 8 megapixel rear facing BSI (Backside Illumination) camera with LED flash
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Otherwise, we are expecting to learn a bit more about the Optimus 4X HD once Mobile World Congress kicks off on February 27th.
