Those of you who happen to have been waiting for the Dell XPS 13 ultrabook to come available — now is your time to make a purchase. The Windows 7 running notebook is available directly with Dell and comes priced from as low as $999. Features you can expect for that price include a 13.3 inch HD (720P) TrueLife display, 1.3 megapixel webcam, 1.60GHz Intel Core i5-2467M processor, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, a 6-cell battery and a weight of 2.99 pounds. And getting specific on the OS, the XPS 13 will arrive running the 64-bit edition of Windows 7 Home Premium.

Otherwise, there is also the option to upgrade. In this case, you can get a model for $1299.99 which swaps the 128GB SSD for a 256GB SSD or a model for $1499.99 which keeps that same 256GB SSD and also bumps the processor up to an i7. More specifically, bumps the processor up to a 1.70GHz Intel Core i7-2637M.

And lastly, at least at the time of this posting — the shipping times for all three configurations are showing an “estimated ship date” of February 29th. In other words, you can buy and have it ship out on the same day.
