Bello Digital's BDH643 earbuds

Bell’O, a company known mostly for home theater furniture, mounts and audio/video cables, has entered the headphone category with its new Bell’O Digital line, beginning with the BDH650 Digital Earbuds.

The Earbuds, available now in a price range from $9.99 to $39.99, sport a clean look and robust sound as well as durability, marking a successful entry into the new space.

The new headphones, introduced at International CES in January, are unbelievably light, featuring small earbuds that, unlike other headphones in the category, don’t hurt to put or keep in your ears. The product also includes three earbud sizes as well as a slim hard case, which is especially convenient when you’ve been using the headphones with a smartphone.

When the new line was announced in January, Bell’O described the move as a way to “expand our rapidly growing consumer electronics accessory business into the future,” Bell’O CEO Marc Sculler said in the press announcement.

Bell’O has also said that surge protectors are on the way as part of the Bell’O Digital line.
