Last weekend, Apple announced that the iOS App Store has served the 25 billionth app. Today, Apple is now announcing that said app was the free version of Disney’s Where’s My Water? game. Incidentally, this game has been hailed as one of the best games of 2011 by several tech sites and blogs. Apple also now knows who the lucky person who downloaded the app marking the App Store’s phenomenal feat and that’s a fellow from Qingdao, China known as Chunli Fu. Mr. Fu who will receive a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card which he can use to purchase paid apps and games from the App Store. Apple has already contacted Mr. Fu and unlike the previous winner of similar amount, the fellow did not hang up on the Apple representative who called him up. Apple is now thanking its App Store customers for helping them achieve the said feat. The App Store aside from having served its 25 billionth app recently also now boasts of more than 550,000 apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users.
