The Official Google Mobile Blog just put out a brief note announcing the addition of “Recent” icon when visiting Google.com using your mobile devices. This icon displays your most recently searched information about a particular place using your computer or other devices. Tapping on this icon will give you telephone numbers, directions in getting there and other details about the place that you have just searched for. To enable this feature on your mobile device, you must have the Google Search web history enabled and you must also be logged into your Google account when visiting Google.com on your iPhone or Android devices. This might seem like a minor feature but it will definitely be helpful especially when your out there looking for a particular place you’ve searched about at your home desktop but forgot some details about just when you’re on the move, trying to get to the place. Simply, fire up your phone’s mobile web browser and tap on that Recent icon. No need to conduct the same search again.
