Sony updated its Music Unlimited Android app on Thursday to finally support offline playback. The songs you download are going to be a part of playlists that you would have already created. Once the downloads are done, you’ll be free to listen to your playlists when you’re not connected to a mobile network or Wi-Fi.
Currently, only the smartphone version of the Music Unlimited App supports offline playback. The tablet application hasn’t been updated since mid-January.
Sony has also made the Music Unlimited app available for download on the PlayStation Vita. It joins the likes of Flickr, Facebook, Twitter and Netflix as the Vita’s premier non-gaming applications.
